Wafaa specialises in advanced skin therapies, and continually seeks out the latest innovations in technology and education to ensure her clients always receive the very best in care and results.

Wafaa’s Journey

Wafaa began her career in the beauty industry in 1995, inspired by a genuine desire to help people feel more confident and empowered in their own skin.

Her dedication to client education and her deep understanding of skin and body health quickly earned her a loyal following — many of whom have remained devoted clients for almost 30 years.

Before founding Cronulla Skin Sanctuary in 2005, Wafaa successfully owned and operated two renowned salons in Engadine and Gymea. Throughout her career, she has been recognised as a true industry leader — respected not only for her results-driven approach but also for her warmth, knowledge, and unwavering client care.

Her vision for Cronulla Skin Sanctuary was to create a luxurious, nurturing environment that offered a unique blend of traditional beauty therapies alongside cutting-edge, clinically advanced treatments. Today, the sanctuary is a true reflection of that vision — a place where real results and genuine care come together.

Wafaa remains passionate about ongoing education, ensuring both she and her team are always ahead of industry advancements. She thrives on introducing new technologies and techniques that further enhance client outcomes, and takes immense satisfaction in helping every individual achieve their best skin and body health.

With a career beginning in 2008, Casey brings over 16 years of experience and a deep passion for skin correction to Cronulla Skin Sanctuary.

Spending 12 years immersed in the paramedical skin industry, Casey has honed her expertise working with a wide range of advanced modalities and leading skincare lines, always seeking out the latest innovations to help her clients achieve their best skin.

Casey is a firm believer in client education and sees herself as a true partner in every client’s skin journey. She takes pride in empowering her clients with a holistic understanding of their skin, focusing not just on treatments but on the important connection between gut health, lifestyle, nutrition, and the science behind skin conditions. Her approach ensures real, long-term results — not just quick fixes.

Passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply client-focused, Casey is available for appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every second Saturday.

With over 30 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, Leonie is passionate about enhancing her clients’ natural beauty by inspiring confidence and self-love through every treatment.

Her holistic approach integrates advanced skincare, internal nutrition, and a deep understanding of skin health to create vibrant, healthy, and radiant complexions.

Leonie’s true goal is to share her extensive knowledge and skillset to support each client’s individual journey towards happy, glowing skin.

Leonie is available for appointments Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Originally from Ireland, Kelly brings her passion, warmth, and deep expertise to every treatment at Cronulla Skin Sanctuary.

Since beginning her career in 2017, Kelly has devoted herself to advanced skin health and laser therapies, driven by her own personal journey with acne — a journey that sparked her love for helping others feel confident and radiant in their own skin.

Kelly specialises in treating a full range of skin conditions, from acne and scarring to pigmentation, rosacea, and age management. She is highly skilled in advanced technologies, including Skin Needling, IPL Photo Rejuvenation, Pico Laser Resurfacing, and Laser Tattoo Removal — treatments she finds truly transformative not only for her clients but also in her own skincare experience.

Known for her caring, results-driven approach, Kelly takes immense pride in supporting her clients through every stage of their skin journey.

She believes that achieving healthy, beautiful skin is a collaborative process, and is dedicated to empowering her clients with knowledge, care, and the most effective, cutting-edge treatments available.

Mataea is our kind-hearted and exceptionally talented first year apprentice, and a cherished member of the Cronulla Skin Sanctuary team. After spending two years with us as a junior, she’s already built a strong foundation in client care and treatment delivery—well beyond her years.

Mataea has a natural flair for shaping brows, performing flawless lash lifts, and delivering smooth, comfortable waxing treatments. Her gentle nature, eye for detail, and calm confidence instantly make clients feel welcome and cared for.

Jess is the creative and organisational force behind the seamless experience at Cronulla Skin Sanctuary, both in-clinic and online. She assists with bookings, enquiries, and client care, ensuring every visit feels smooth, supported, and stress-free.

With a passion for aesthetics and storytelling, Jess brings the Sanctuary to life across our social platforms — curating content that reflects our values, showcases real client journeys, and keeps our community connected, inspired, and engaged.

Jess’s thoughtful approach ensures every interaction feels nurturing, professional, and truly special.

Tegan completed her studies at the Australian Academy of Beauty Therapy, one of Australia’s leading private beauty colleges. Her dedication to her studies and passion for the industry were recognised when she was awarded Student of the Year, as well as Industry Student Runner-Up.

She holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Diploma of Salon Management, along with qualifications in Laser and Dermal Skin Treatments, giving her a strong educational foundation in advanced skin and beauty therapy.

Tegan has a particular passion for corrective skin treatments and loves understanding the why behind a client’s skin concerns. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of being a therapist is getting to the bottom of a concern and providing clients with the education and answers they may have been searching for for years.

Education is a big part of the way Tegan approaches skin. She wants her clients to understand what is happening within their skin, what may be contributing to their concerns and, importantly, why particular treatments or home care are being recommended.

Since joining Cronulla Skin Sanctuary, Tegan has quickly become a wonderful addition to the team. Bubbly, friendly and warm, with a great sense of humour, she has a natural ability to make clients feel comfortable and at ease. Behind her fun personality is someone who takes her education seriously, genuinely loves learning and is always looking to further her knowledge of the skin.

Tegan brings a fresh and positive energy to our Sanctuary and is excited to continue developing her skills within the paramedical skin industry while helping her clients achieve healthier, stronger skin and results they can feel confident in.
